HFH commenced its renovation and extension project

Early July 2016, L’Hôpital Francais de Hanoi commenced its renovation and extension project, bringing the total number of beds to 170 from 68 with the aim of seeing the emerging demand for high-end healthcare services of Vietnamese as well as foreigners who work and travel to Vietnam.


The project comprises two main durations: Phase 1: Constructing new building with 2-storey basement and 7-storey block; Phase 2: Renovating and improving current facility. The project is expected to complete in the 2nd half of 2018. During this period, clients can update information of extension progress on the website at www.hfh.com.vn

The project was firstly proposed in 2010 and it was approved by the Prime Minister on 18/06/2013.

On 7/5/2014, the Hospital was granted a second revised investment certificate with adjusted investment capital to USD 56,674,000 from USD 26,674,000 for its extension and renovation plan.

Upon receipt of construction permit on 08/04/2016, the Hospital started to set up and moved auxiliary working areas including stores, offices and H Café.

As a 100% foreign invested healthcare property, the Hospital understands and always respects Vietnamese culture and customs. On the 11th of June 2016, the Board of Management held a praying ceremony offered by the head monk of Phap Van Buddhism temple for groundbreaking and moving the little temple - dedicated to five colleagues who sacrified in the well-known fights against SARS in accordance with the Vietnamese traditions of building religious monuments.


On 25/06/2016, the Hospital launched “Bear with us” program with the desire to receive companionship and sharing of clients towards a modern hospital in the near future.
